Get spooky in Greenwich Market this Halloween

This is Halloween – Greenwich Market style!

As if Greenwich Market isn’t unique enough, Halloween brings a whole new atmosphere to the market, as traders get into the spirit and the market takes on a spooky seasonal transformation.

Expect creepy creations, ghoulish goings-on, Halloween crafts, face painting, live music and plenty of delicious food and drink along the way. Whether you’re bringing the family along for some daytime Halloween fun or looking for something a little different on a spooky night out, there’s plenty to get you in the Halloween spirit.

Get spooky at Park It in the Market

Things kick off on Thursday 29 October with the Park It in the Market Halloween Special.

Where else in London could you spot a skeleton testing out the driving seat of a vintage car, surrounded by classic motors and accompanied by live rock ‘n’ roll music?

From 7.30pm–10pm, the market will be taken over by the Halloween spirit, with the usual stalls getting a distinctly ghoulish makeover. Expect classic cars, live music and plenty of spooky sights as you wander through the market after dark.

And, of course, no evening at Greenwich Market is complete without something good to eat. Grab some street food from one of the market’s many food stalls, pick up a drink and settle in for an evening of Halloween fun, vintage cars and rock ‘n’ roll.

Halloween fun for the little monsters

On Saturday 31 October – Halloween Day itself – it’s time for some spooky family fun.

Get the kids Halloween-ready at the market from 12–2pm, when our Halloween face painter will be on hand to create their chosen spooky look. Whether they fancy becoming a creepy creature, a colourful monster or something altogether more mysterious, they can pick their favourite design before heading off to trick or treat.

There will also be Halloween arts and crafts to get stuck into, giving little witches, wizards and monsters plenty to keep them busy.

And while the kids are getting creative, there’s plenty for grown-ups to enjoy too. Take your time browsing the market’s independent stalls, from handmade gifts and jewellery to art, vintage finds and unique treats, before stopping for some street food or a Halloween-themed drink.

Make a day of it

Halloween is a great excuse to spend some time at Greenwich Market. Come for the spooky activities, stay for the food and shopping, and soak up the atmosphere as the market gets ready for the spookiest night of the year.

Whether you’re looking for Halloween events in Greenwich, a family-friendly Halloween activity or a fun evening with a difference, make Greenwich Market part of your Halloween plans this October.
