Greenwich Market’s annual Pancake Race, hosted by a Pearly Queen, is back, raising funds for Greenwich & Bexley Community Hospice. Reserve your space to take part in this free event through Eventbrite – the first 50 ticket-holders who registered get a gift bag from Bonne Maman, or come along to cheer on the racers as they flip their reusable and mess-free pancakes to the delight of the crowds. Fresh pancakes are on sale all day!

5. Get creative at half-term craft workshops

Where? Cockpit Deptford / Charlton House / Old Royal Naval College
When?
Various times, 17 to 20 February

Explore various arts and crafts dedicated workshops across Greenwich. Starting with Charlton House, where you can get hands-on with history in a fun family craft session. Children can create historical-inspired crafts to take home, from paper ruffs to corgi puppets. The award-winning creators at Cockpit are also running a new series of craft workshops for families to create their own unique handmade pieces together. Try printmaking, embroidery or patchwork led by talented visual artists in this specialist craft studio space in London. Alternatively, become an eco-architect this half-term at the Old Royal Naval College. Build your own structural masterpieces out of recycled materials and discover more about the world of design and architecture.
