Greenwich Market dates back to 1700, when it was officially established by Royal Charter, meaning it’s been trading for over three centuries!
Through royal jubilees, world wars, and street-style revolutions, the market has remained a buzzing hub of local life. It even kept traders coming during Victorian outbreaks and blackout-era rationing. Not bad for a place that started as a few fruit stalls and fishmongers!
