October is here! The autumn season has officially arrived, at this London market, and we’re excited to present a line-up of events that will make your October unforgettable. From the world-famous Oktoberfest to a spooky Halloween celebration, there’s something for everyone at Greenwich Market this month.

Oktoberfest Returns to Greenwich Market for 2023!

Get ready to raise your steins and join the merrymakers, as the world’s largest Volksfest is making its way to Greenwich Market! Join us on Friday 6th October from 1 to 10pm, as our Grade II-listed market building comes alive with the spirit of Oktoberfest. Discover delectable German cuisine, a wide selection of beers, live music, and a whole lot of fun!

Greenwich Market Oktoberfest hosts a vibrant Germanic experience right in the heart of London. It’s an evening of celebration, where locals and visitors can enjoy delicacies from food vendors such as Udle Burger, and The Sausage and try some craft ales from local breweries including JuiceBar, BrewbyNumbers and Earth Ale. Come and join us to enjoy the lively atmosphere, traditional food, and exciting entertainment!

Celebrating Black History Month

October is also a time to celebrate Black History Month. Throughout the month, we’ll be highlighting and honouring local black-owned businesses of African and Caribbean descent. This is an opportunity to recognise and support these entrepreneurs who contribute significantly to the community.

Expect live music, including a captivating steel band. These events aim to provide a platform for celebrating and supporting black entrepreneurs in London, with a particular focus on Greenwich Market traders. It’s a month-long celebration of diversity and entrepreneurship in our community, and we’re thrilled to be a part of it. Come along and join us on the 22nd & 24th October.

Calling all classic car and bike enthusiasts! Rev your engines for a spine-tingling soirée like no other at Greenwich Market. Our classic cars and bikes will undergo a ghoulish transformation, turning into jack-o’-lantern vehicles that lurk in the shadows.

As you stroll through the market, immerse yourself in the live music and DJ sets whilst you indulge in mouth-watering treats from our street food vendors – bone appetite!

Fancy dress is encouraged, so get out your most eerie and enchanting costumes and join the fun.

Best of all, you can enjoy FREE ENTRY, everyone is welcome! Bring your friends and family for a spooktacular night – eat, drink and be scary!

As Halloween approaches, Greenwich Market invites you to step into a spine-tingling world of delights for the whole family. Join us for a bewitching celebration filled with eerie enchantments, including arts and crafts workshops to craft creepy creations, mystical magic that will leave you spellbound, and spine-chilling games that dare you to participate.

Transform into ghouls, ghosts, and monsters with our gruelling face painting and watch as our balloon entertainer twists and shapes balloons into creepy creatures.

Why not dress up in your most eerie-sistible costumes and enter our creepy costume competition for the chance to win fang-tastic prizes?
