Market or Mobile Trader of The Year Award – First Choice Caribbean Hut

We are pleased to announce that one of our own Cutty Sark Street Food Market Traders – First Choice Caribbean Hut, has won the Market or Mobile Trader of the Year Award at the Best of Royal Greenwich Business Awards 2026. Known for their culinary passion and authentic Caribbean flavours, their win highlights the important role that independent traders play in shaping the borough’s diverse food culture and community spirit.

The winners of the Best of Royal Greenwich Business Awards were announced at a prestigious ceremony held on Friday, 13 March at Woolwich Works, bringing together more than 400 local entrepreneurs, investors and community stakeholders to celebrate a year of innovation, resilience and success across the borough.

Organised by the council in association with the South East London Chamber, the awards were supported by headline sponsor Berkeley and served as a celebration of the businesses that continue to drive Royal Greenwich forward, whether through entrepreneurship, collaboration, or positive social impact.
