In May 2025, Greenwich Market joined the Love Your Local Market (LYLM) fortnight.
Kicking off on 16th May we erected “ I ♡ GM” cardboard letters and asked customers and Greenwich Market traders to add their thoughts on why they love Greenwich Market.
Well, within a day the entire installation was already covered in messages! We’ve since had to keep peeling off layers to make space for more messages from our fans.
All we can say is the support has been more than we expected and now Robinson Alcantara, Duty Manager, has suggested we should make a permanent version in the market. Watch this space.
