We are proud to announce that Greenwich Market has won the Tourism and Culture Award in this year’s Best of Royal Greenwich Business Awards.

The Awards, organised by the Royal Borough of Greenwich, in association with LandsecU+I and the South East London Chamber of Commerce, are an annual opportunity to celebrate and showcase local businesses and their outstanding contributions to the borough.
The Tourism & Culture Award, sponsored by Uber Boat by Thames Clippers, recognises Greenwich Market for its crucial role in fostering cultural diversity and social inclusion within the Royal Greenwich community. The historic Market provides a platform for local artisans, craft traders, food traders and cultural events to enrich the community’s cultural landscape and nurtures local talent and encourages creativity, making the area more vibrant and interconnected.
Greenwich Market is a top tourist destination, known for its international food, artisanal products, and cultural events. Vitally, Greenwich Market acts as a key economic driver for the Royal Greenwich area, supporting small businesses and entrepreneurs, working in partnership with Visit Greenwich.
Rachid Ghailane, Market Operations Manager at Knight Frank, stated, “Winning the Best of Royal Greenwich Award is a wonderful accolade. By attracting both locals and visitors, Greenwich Market stimulates economic growth, job creation, and sustainable business practices. Our dedication to offering unique, locally-made products and services fosters a thriving small-business environment, contributing to the economic well-being of the area.”
