Vote Now: Greenwich Market shortlisted for Royal Greenwich Business Awards

We’re delighted to announce that Greenwich Market – one of London’s top tourist destinations as chosen by TripAdvisor again in 2024 – has just been shortlisted for the Tourism and Culture Award at the Best of Royal Greenwich Business Awards. This award is proudly sponsored by Uber Boat by Thames Clippers.

No matter who scoops this prestigious award next February, Greenwich Market is proud of our crucial role in the borough, providing a platform for local artisans, craft and food traders, and cultural events that brings our community together. We love nurturing local talent and encouraging creativity, making Greenwich all the more vibrant and interconnected.

But that’s not all!

We’re also here to announce that THREE of Greenwich Market’s own traders have also been shortlisted for awards this year – an honour in and of itself. We know how passionate our traders are, how they put so much care and attention into their offerings, and how the customer is at the heart of everything they do.

Jewellery traders DeMEC Jewellers and Richard Chown Jewellery have both been selected in the Market or Mobile Trader category, sponsored by Brighter Futures Project. Restaurant Madre Pinzeria Italiana has been nominated in the Best Food and Drink Venue category, sponsored by Drury Tea and Coffee.

And that’s where YOU come in: voting is now open for three Business Award categories, which means you can have your say. It’s time for you to vote for the best businesses in Greenwich.

Check out the shortlists for Best Food and Drink Venue, Best High Street Business and Best Market or Mobile Trader and cast your vote before 10 January!

But don’t just take our word for it, come down and visit Greenwich Market’s nominations for yourself. They are just some of the reasons Greenwich Market is such a hit with locals and visitors from across the country and the world. Greenwich Market offers a special blend of international food stalls, unique artisanal traders, and a year-round calendar of cultural events.

Choosing the winners for the other Best Business Award categories falls to the Royal Borough’s specially selected judging panel. Scroll through who’s made this year’s shortlist to see if any of your favourite local businesses, who make Greenwich such a special place to be, are also up for a gong.

We’d like to extend our appreciation to the Royal Borough of Greenwich for hosting these awards. We’re looking forward to a fabulous night at the InterContinental London – The O2 on Friday 7 February where the hard work and entrepreneurial spirit of Greenwich’s business community will be celebrated by all the nominees and judges.

Wish us luck!
