Marking Shrove Tuesday, the market has the ultimate event planned to raise funds for the Greenwich and Bexley Community Hospice, a local charity that’s close to the heart of the trading community. The day will be held on 13th February from 11 am and hosted by the Cockney Pearly King and Queen from the neighbourhood. The big day will feature the famous pancake races, where you can join in and compete alongside Market Treaders to take part in the fun of flipping pancakes in frying pans, all for a worthy cause!
